   I am Paige Furin from Henderson, Nevada and I play competitive tennis. I'm currently a junior at Coronado High School and  played varsity tennis 2018-2019 as a sophomore in the starting lineup. Our team was undefeated all year and proudly brought home the State Championship! In addition, my partner Megan King and I  took third in state individual doubles...what an exciting year! I started playing tennis when I was six years old and competed in tournaments in several different states since the age of 10. 

    Tennis has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Since a very young age, I have been very dedicated and not afraid to work hard. My current coach, Adolph Huddleston, has played a significant role in my development since the age of 6. We have a very good relationship and high expectations are set for me everyday. In addition to Adolph, I have also benefited from intermittent work with 6 other coaches over the years.

 Along with my dedication to tennis, I am also a great student who loves school. Enrolled in honors and dual credit classes I have always been on top of my work. Missing and late assignments are completely unacceptable to me... I manage time very well.  I have never received below a B in any of my classes, and will keep it that way throughout my journey. During the years of 2015 to 2019 I participated in the National Charity League with my mother and did over 175 hours of community and league service. I am also a certified ball kid and have worked The BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells Tennis Garden 2016-2018, The Las Vegas Tennis Open 2016-2017, and the The Henderson Open 2019.  

    Overall, I am a confident and well rounded student athlete. Most importantly, I am very excited to continue all of my hard work and devotion throughout college. I'm super open to new opportunities and places to continue my tennis career as well as my academics!
