Hi, my name is Campbell Miller and I am im my senior year at Archbishop Hoban High School. My goal is to compete at the collegiate level in tennis while maintaining precedence on academic excellence. Most recently, in my second season as captain, I qualified for the OHSAA State Doubles Tournament in D2. I won the sectional tournament, placed third at districts in the Northeast and accomplished a 12-1 regular season record.
As a freshman, I competed at 1st singles on varsity with a 15-6 record and qualified for the district tournament after placing 3rd at sectionals. The summer leading into 10th grade, I participated in camps such as one at IMG Academy in Florida. I would miss my sophomore girls season due to injury. I would make a full recovery and play on the varsity boys team in the spring, recieving a letter. There I would take time to specialize on my doubles game and add great versatility and adaptability to my game while maintaining a record above .500 at the 1st doubles position. While I strive to improve individually whenever I play, I also push those around me to be their best. What separates me is my composure, creativity on the court, and work ethic which continue to propel me to reach my potential in tennis and in the classroom. I have maintained a 4.3 cumulative GPA while taking primarily honors courses. As I continue to grow my skills through high school, I aspire to find a college that supports me academically and athletically.
