Hello! I will be a senior at Grove City High School in Grove City, Ohio and play first varsity singles. Grove City High School competes in the Division I Ohio Capital Conference. I look forward to continuing playing tennis at the collegiate level in the fall of next year. I am very driven, hard-working, and coachable. As a four-year varsity letterman, I am heavily experienced in both doubles and singles play. Throughout the winter I am involved in club tennis and participate regularly in USTA tournaments. While tennis plays a major role in my life, I am very passionate about other things such as my academics, community and school involvement, and my faith.
To illustrate, I currently hold a weighted 4.56 grade point average. I am ranked tenth in my class of nearly 500 students. In addition, I have been the Class President for four consecutive years. On top of that, I am also the president of my school’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes organization. I lead nearly one hundred students in gathering each week before school to grow in our faith together, making it the largest FCA huddle in central Ohio. In addition, I am the Parliamentarian for National Honor Society. Finally, I devote much of my time to serving my church and community through various outreach programs. In total, I have accumulated over 300 hours of volunteer service over the course of my high school career.
I not only want to continue my athletics in college but also grow as an individual. I plan to major in Kinesiology and earn a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Thank you for considering me as a potential recruit!
