Hello, my name is Maddie Kavenagh! It has always been my goal to play collegiate tennis. By the time I graduate high school, I will have been playing tennis for 9 years, and I want to continue what I have been working hard at for so many years. I believe my work ethic and ability to be coached make me a strong candidate, but most importantly, my passion for the game and desire to improve separate me from others.  Starting  from only playing once a week, I have grown to practice every day, compete and win at high-level tournaments, and qualify/place at the Ohio High School Athletic Association Girls Tennis State Tournament, but, no matter the outcome at the end of the day, I’m thankful to have the opportunity to play.  People often ask me why I wish to play at the collegiate level, and, for me, I want to keep improving and do what I love as long as possible.
