Personal Statement
I started playing tennis at the age of nine and have been playing since. I enjoy challenging myself both physically and mentally on the court. I train off-season using plyometrics training and weightlifting. I have strong, solid groundstrokes and volleys. I am also a flexible player, able to play doubles and singles.
Off the court, I maintain a 4.0 GPA while taking several AP classes. I also participate in the Symphonic Strings Orchestra and Symphony Orchestra and volunteer outside of school. I am also a member of the National Honors Society.
Playing tennis at the collegiate level will carve an academic future for me. I am hoping to find a school that will provide me with a well-rounded education.
