Kaelyn Balko '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing tennis since around the age of 5 or 6. I started with small tennis camps my high school ran, but I fell in love with the sport. I was 11 or 12 years old and started to play more competitively and often. I enjoy visiting different places when competing at tennis tournaments as it combines my love of tennis, traveling, and meeting new people! My most significant achievement is winning District Doubles with my partner and Districts with my team in my 2022 season. People would describe me as hardworking and dedicated, and as my parents say, “We can never get her off the court.” One of the most important factors of playing tennis during the high school season is taking the statement “student-athlete” very seriously. I can manage my time between tennis and school work, being in honors and AP classes. People describe me as hardworking, dedicated, motivated, and a team player.
