Tennis has become part of my life for the better. To me personally, tennis is a physical sport but it’s mostly a mental sport. Tennis can be frustrating and really difficult, however I never had the problem to just keep on putting in the work and fighting harder and harder. I’ve beaten certain opponents from just my grit in the match. Being alone on the court can be difficult and with a team it can just push you even harder.
To me personally, the team is your family that has your back. I’ve played softball on a travel team and also on the High School varsity team and it has shown me what it means to be on a team. From being down in a game and within the last inning, cheering and keeping the positive energy, we came back and won championships. No matter what, whether I’m playing or sitting on the bench, I was cheering everyone on to keep on fighting and we pulled through and won championships.
