Arielle Barraca '11 Recruiting Profile

My name is Arielle Barraca and I play tennis. I am 4'11", a baseline player, and my favorite shot is my two-handed backhand. I have played high school tennis for the four years I have been in high school, and all previous three years we have made it as state final runner-ups in the SCHSL AA division. Freshman year, I was MVP and all-region, playing number 3 for varsity. Sophomore year, I received the Coach's award and all-region as well, playing number 2 for varsity. Junior year I also received the all-region award, playing number three for varsity. This year I am co-captain with one of my teammates for the varsity team. I play year round and also play tournaments on some weekends. As for college, I'm not sure where I would like to go yet. I am keeping my options open. I know that I would like to attend a school where my major is offered, which is pre-med, nursing, or any type of health science. I'd like to attend a school that is in a nice city and the school is not too small. But I am keeping all options open. My goals are to be apart of a team and also play for them. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and having the opportunity to be apart of something great.
