My goal for playing collegiate tennis is to be surrounded by a team as passionate about tennis as I am. When I first started playing tennis in 6th grade, my goal was to be on a team and play for my middle school. Today, that is still my same goal, just at a higher level. I believe I’m a good candidate because I’m dedicated to the process of becoming a better tennis player. I love to grow and learn more in my sport through my coaches and teammates. What sets me apart from others is my coachability: I’ve always been able to pick up things quickly and accurately. I also believe in a balance between my sport and my student life; in college, I want to be able to dedicate myself to my sport but also grow in my faith, succeed in academics, and be immersed in the community at my college.
