I aspire to double major in both creative writing and psychology while also playing on tennis. Once settled in, I also hope to become involved in a campus literary journal in order to gain experience in both editing and publishing. I understand the level of organization and balance juggling these many pursuits will take, and I am already learning how to manage large amounts of work though being an IB diploma student. Academics are crucial to me, so I manage to focus on what I want to achieve despite the many pains of studying and the stress of school. I have received a Gold & a Silver Key at the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2014 and a Silver Key in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards of 2015.
In the way of tennis, I have been playing for nine years and am entirely dedicated to the sport. I would not let outside distractions interfere with my personal and team priorities. I have been in intense full-day training academies and have thus learned to persevere through most strenuous situations. I have played extensively in USTA Texas and ITF tournaments against some of the best competition in the country. I'm also accustomed to preparation and physical training. I rely on quickness and speed in my game, and I have tremendous endurance in lengthy matches. In addition, I have an accurate serve.
If a school chooses me, they will get a dedicated player with the will to succeed on the court and in the classroom.
