Hello, I am Dyanne Velazquez and a junior at Mexia High School. I have been playing tennis ever since my Freshman year. I was intrigued by the sport ever since I was in the seventh grade. I love tennis and would stay almost all the time after practice ended to hit with my teammates. My Freshman year I placed third in Singles at our JV District Tournament. My Sophomore year I, along with my Mixed Doubles partner, placed third at our Varsity District Tournament. We became Regional Alternates. I was given the Hustle Award by the Mexia Head Coach that year. This spring, I am determined to make it to Regionals again and hopefully get even farther. I believe I can become a great asset to your team, for I am a hard worker, determined, and always motivated to do better.
