My name is Kaylin Kruseman. I am a Junior at Stratford High School. I am the top singles and doubles player on my team which has been ranked #12 in Texas this year by the Texas Tennis Coaches Association.
It has been my goal and dream since I was a little girl to become an elite tennis player capable of attracting a college athletic scholarship. I continue to dedicate my life on the court and in the classroom to achieving that. I train every day of the week, practicing three hours each day in addition to a steady diet of match play on the weekends. I am a competitive singles player who also loves to play doubles since it allows me to use my strength in attacking the net with my serve and volley game. A few words that would describe me include very competitive, hard working, funny, energetic and athletic. I love all sports, especially football, and enjoy listening to music.
Tennis is who I am – it’s what I love and what I choose to do to identify myself. Just the thought of possibly playing college tennis brings me joy. My plan is to get a college degree while working hard to be the best tennis player I can be.
My hope is to find a good team that wants me, to become an asset to that team and to pursue a quality education that prepares me to become a very good professional one day.
