I have only been playing tennis for a few years, but I have been working extremely hard over this year to improve my mental and physical skills, along with my overall strength and conditioning. I have played #2 and #3 singles and #1 and #2 doubles on JV my freshman year. I played two varsity #4 doubles matches as well during my freshman season. My sophomore year I played #2 and #3 singles and one #1 doubles match on varsity. I am currently #1 singles on varsity and a co-captain. I placed 6th in Wesco 3A Singles League Tournament junior year.
I am a hard worker and a hustler, who wants to work as hard as I can, pushing myself past my limits, mentally and physically. I am coachable and love to hear feedback to help me improve my inner and outer game. I am an encouraging teammate that loves to see my teammates succeed and cheer them on. I am a strong backhander and server and am continuously working on my volleying game and my forehand. My favorite way to improve is to look at videos and see what I am doing that I can improve on when no one else is around to watch me. I was voted co-captain on the varsity team and was voted Most Dedicated by my teammates.
I would like to attain my Bachelor’s degree in Business to pursue my end profession of a paramedic-firefighter and fire chief. I am extremely open to any and all possibilities, wherever that takes me and I am excited for the future.
I participate in multiple extracurricular activities outside of school and take advanced and AP classes. I also am extremely involved in youth group and want to do everything possible to put God first in my life.
