I have been playing tennis since I can remember. For the first years of my life, I saw tennis as a recreational activity, but as I grew, around age 11, I knew I wanted to take tennis seriously. I was asked by a high-performance tennis instructor what I wanted to do with my tennis career, to which I responded with professional or at least college tennis. After my first year of high school, playing in varsity singles, I have no doubt in my mind that I still want to pursue my goal of playing college tennis.
I am a strong returner. I also have good court coverage. I have a consistent, solid forehand. I am very coachable, always hungry for feedback wanting to get better. I like learning from my losses and feel more motivated afterward to play better.
I keep up with my schoolwork in class to maintain a high GPA. I have grown to make strong study habits that work for me. I want to attend a college that will push me academically and on the court.
