Personal Statement
My name is Caroline Mallette and I am a senior at Athens High School, located in Alabama. I've been a part of the cross country team for six years, earning AHSAA Cross country All-State Honors in 2020 and helping my team to a section win this 2023 season. I'm entering into my fourth track season this winter. I have suffered two stress fractures while in high school, so staying healthy is a big goal for me as an athlete. A good team environment is also essential to me! I want to train hard and be competitive at the collegiate level, while also having a close-knit group of people to lean on in the process. Lastly, making time for academics is important. I have worked hard throughout high school to maintain a 4.2 GPA, and I plan to keep that work ethic in college.
