Hello,
I am Summer Sutherlin, a dual enrollment student. My track coach, Bruce Pears, has affectionately nicknamed me "Sixty Sutherlin" due to my goal of running the 400m in under 60 seconds. Recently, I achieved my personal best of 57.85 at the AAU Region 6 Championship, which has qualified me to compete in the 2023 AAU Junior Olympics. In addition to improving my athletic abilities, I'm excited about the opportunities running on a collegiate level that will provide for me academically. I'm considering majors in nursing, biology, or microbiology with the ultimate goal of attending medical school to become a gynecologist.
