Hello, my name is Lanette StJohn and I have been running track since 7th grade. Track has taught me many lessons but the most important one is that you can never let failure get in the way of success. There are all kinds of athletes and some will be better than you, and you must set realistic goals for yourself, but must also push yourself to be the best student-athlete you can be, which means breaking those goals you have set. I would like to compete at a collegiate level while earning a degree in Sports management. I would consider myself a hard worker because I know that if you put in the effort and time you are going to see results, and you can't expect to be the best if you aren't willing to push and hold yourself accountable. The subjects I enjoy most are English, Literature, and Writing.
