Hey, my name is Claire Peterson. In my freshman year, I joined cross country to get into shape for soccer and tennis. I wasn't half bad, so I decided to run track, too. I fell in love and, funnily enough, stopped playing both soccer and tennis to have more time to run. I spend the rest of my time on academics and a slew of clubs. Academics and community service are fundamental to me, and I plan on keeping them as priorities in college.
Due to covid and an injury, I had a rough 2020 in my athletics. I feel as though because of that, I never ran as well as I could have, and so my goal in college is to simply improve and train to my full capability.
