Personal Statement
As a Junior at Red Mountain High School (AZ) 2023 , It's my sixth year of running club track and the start of my third year of high school with a focus on Sprints and Triple Jump. I currently hold the school record for Triple Jump (12.23m) and 4x200 (1:47.38). This past summer I fulfilled my goal of becoming an All-American (G15-16), ranked number 7 in the Nation for the Triple Jump.
My current GPA is 4.12, ranked 187 out of 817. I am a Black Student Union (BSU) and Girls Who Code member. Outside of school, I have been a member of the same Girl Scout Troop since first grade, and I am in the process of earning the Gold Award. I spend a lot of time volunteering with a non-profit that supports women with breast cancer ImpactOne. I love boxing in the off-season, reading mystery novels, traveling, and maintaining my online business, shopmakeithappen.com which was started during the pandemic.
