My name is Isabel Cordova and I am a senior at Andrada Polytechnic High School. I do track and field at Empire High School and I have made the Varsity team all four years. I am a team player and always do my best to help others and support the team. I enjoy getting to know my teammates and creating strong relationships with them. I am open to learning new things and like to be given tips to correct things. Academics are very important to me, as my coaches say "school comes first." I have big goals in mind and would like to do what I can to achieve them. Graduating with a 4.0 unweighted GPA, keeping my running career in college active and graduating from college with good grades are some of them. Also, I know that being involved in school is important; I am the the student council Student Body President for the second year in a row, I am in NHS, and HOSA, holding an officer position in two clubs clubs. Aside from track, I did cross country and the martial art of American Kenpo Ju Jitsu and hold the rank of an adult green belt. I love sports and I have been doing them since I was six years old. I have been participating in track and field since 5th grade, with a club team, and all through middle school. I aspire to be the best that I can be by learning from my mistakes, from other people, and from my coaches.
