My college aspirations are to become a veterinary technician, physical therapist, or be a lawyer. I've done many sports such as gymnastics, cheer, basketball, softball, and volleyball. I joined track & field in 7th grade, after my first race that's when I knew I loved the sport. Ever since 7th grade I narrowed down the sports I've done and stayed focused on track. Getting set into blocks and sprinting brings me so much thrill and joy and is something I strongly want to continue doing in college.
A few accomplishments I've had are competing on the varsity track team in my freshman year with a 100m time of 12.46, placing 1st in the 100m and 2nd in the 200m at the senior high all conference meet, I then competed in the state championship meet. I hold 3 different records in track, at my old school I hold the 100m record time and two school records at my current school with two events 100m and 200m.
I'd be a great candidate for the team because I'm very hard working and will never give up no matter how hard the task is. I'd always compete the best I could and push myself on the track and academically. I am a junior in high school that will graduate in 2026. I am taking 16 classes this year that include honor classes and AP classes. I work hard academically to maintain a high GPA and outstanding grades.
I'd like to attend a college that will make me push myself to be successful in my sport and in my classes. I want to compete at a college with great academic selectivity and the highest level of competition possible. I wish to be a role model to all students and show them it's possible to accomplish great things in life if you continuously work hard.
