Abby Elcan '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello! I am a passionate student-athlete and I love to work hard to achieve my goals. Running is something that has become very special to me ever since I started the sport in junior high. I am committed to becoming the best person and student athlete I can be. I thrive when I am encouraged to push myself and am able to learn more about my sport. I lead a small group and am involved in youth at my church. I am also very dedicated in the classroom. I carry a 4.06 GPA, and am in multiple AP classes. This season I achieved All- State at Cross Country State with a 4th place overall finish in the largest division in Arkansas. My teammates and coaches are very important to me, and have truly been such a blessing. I strive to do my best in everything I do, and desire to continue to running in college. 

I am looking for a college that challenges me athletically and academically. I also want to grow in character and be surrounded by uplifting teammates and coaches. Thank you so much and feel free to contact me!
