Taylor Viera '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am a senior at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School in Alameda, California. I ran the 400m, 200m, 100m, and both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays during my junior year. My GPA is currently 3.26 and I have interest in majoring in American Sign Language, Psychology, or Drama/Theatre in college.

    Running track at the next level is a serious goal of mine and one that I hope to achieve. I am a fierce competitor who works hard every practice. I try to always improve while becoming the strongest athlete I can possibly be. I feel that I have not even scratched the surface of my abilities and have a lot more room to grow.

    I am looking for a school and program with a family atmosphere, a coaching staff that cares about me as a person and a student in addition to an athlete, and a strong academic reputation that will challenge me. I expect to have a lifetime relationship with the school I choose. I am open to schools with both small and large enrollment as well as schools in urban, rural, and suburban areas. I am very confident that I will excel both in the classroom and on the track and will be an asset to both the school and the surrounding community.
