Sports have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and it would be a great honor to compete at a collegiate level. I have played rugby since I was four and been a thrower since the fifth grade and little by little have been progressing and getting better. What makes me a good candidate for a college team is that I am driven and persistent. When I see a goal I want to achieve I will do everything possible in my power to achieve it. I am also consistent, I understand anything worth doing takes time and I am willing to take time to get the results I want. Some things that sets me apart from other recruits is my ability to stay calm when faced with adversity. I have overcome many challenges whether it was physically or emotionally through my sports, however at the end of the day not only did it make me a better athlete but also a better person. Because of my past experiences I am stronger and better at handling challenges that come my way along with many other useful skills. Fortunately I have been able to use those in other areas of my life including throwing.
