Personal Statement

I have recently joined cross country and track. I had tried out for track during my sophomore year and my passion for running has grown ever since. I knew it was a difficult sport and that i would fail more then succeed. During my Junior year I joined the cross country team for the first time and loved it. I am determined and committed when it comes to my life goals. My primary goals have always been grades first then sports because of my grades aren’t good then I can’t do sports. Running competitively helps me learn more about myself and helps me become a better athlete. Running is a mental sport and teaches me that I am capable of being a good runner, but it never gets easier, only harder which brings pain and success in the end.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
