     Stepping on to the Track at Claremont High School is where I find myself focused and determined to do my best and complete my goals. It has been a goal of mine since spring of my freshman year to run at a four year university and I hope that wherever I commit to, I can make a good impact.

      My junior year this year has been very successful in track. As a three year varsity member I was able to help my team win the Sierra League for the third time in a row. I helped the 4x1600m relay team break my high school’s school record for a third time in a row, and helped the 4x800m relay team break the school record this year.  I also qualified for CIF in the 800 meter race this year and hope to do it again next year.

     For my senior year in this sport and cross country, I plan on continuing to be a good role model for my team as a future track and cross country captain and continue to do the best to my ability to help my team be successful. I have a big heart for running and I plan on running until I cannot run anymore.
