Lauren Lopes '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'4 100m, 200m, and 4x100m runner from Downey, CA. I have participated in the Earl Engman Relay, Nike Redondo, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach, and Trabucco Hills invites to compete against other D1 runners in my area. 

I am looking for a smaller school, preferably Christian, that balance between classroom, track, and extracurricular activities. I would like to stay local in the West Coast, although I am open to anywhere providing exceptional nursing academics, as well as a commendable track program. I always strive to increase my weight in the weight room, keep my grades high, go in for assistance when required, and of course constantly improve my PR. My biggest drive is to run in college and get my degree in nursing in order to provide for my family and help others. Financial assistance is very important to my family and I.  A goal of mine is to run as a freshman, I am a team player, and I believe I would be a strong asset to your college team.
