Sofia Abrego '22 Recruiting Profile

Running has been part of my life since I was a little kid and I cannot imagine my life without it. Being a runner makes me a better person, it helps me keeping up and being organized with the rest of my responsibilities, it has helped me find some of my best friends, and more than anything it makes me happy. Furthermore, academics has always being a priority for me and my family and going to college is an important and exciting milestone. It is my dream to be able to run at a competitive level for a college where I can be academically inspired and supported. Although I still do not know exactly what I want to study, I definitely incline towards the science and engineering fields. I love and do well in mathematics, which has being a great foundation for other classes like physics and computer science. I am still exploring other areas in my junior year.  I am looking forward to finding a good matching place and giving my best to this new experience.
