My goals are to finish school so that I can be successful in life, but to have a good time while doing so. This is why I would like to run track in college, because I enjoy it and it is a passion of mine. I am a good candidate because I am one of the most dedicated people ever, I rarely miss practice and am always aspiring to make myself and others better. Although I am very hard on myself and people think that I put myself down too much, I see it as my way of pushing myself to be better. I have been a captain on my school's track team for both of the years that I have been on it, and I was also a captain of my school's cross country team my second year. Also, my sophomore year I trained during the offseason because practices weren't being held so that I could enter the season as strong as I could, and it really helped. I watch other people's videos, look for running tips, and observe the athletes around me/in my league to see how I can better improve myself. I have always had staight As and I plan to try my hardest to keep it that way. I finished freshman year with a 4.0, sophomore year with around a 4.1 with 1 AP class, and my first semester of junior year with a 4.6 and 4 AP classes.
