I’ve been on the track team for only 2 years. I started my sophomore year running a 1 min flat in the 300 hurdles and by junior year I dropped it to 51.80, I feel I could have gone lower but I had a minor injury that had me rest half the season. I’m very disciplined in myself and like to push my limits. I recently joined a club track team where they helped me work on my form with hurdles due to the fact I had to learn everything on my own since my school didn’t have a hurdle coach. I’m very excited for my senior track year and can’t wait to compete. I run the 100 and 300 hurdles, 4x4 and 4x1. I had no idea track and field could be ran in college until my junior year I knew it was something I wanted to do since I first heard about it. I have always bounced around from one sport to another but track has really stayed with me and I just don’t think I’m ready to give up running after 3 years. I still feel I have so much more potential if I have the right coach who can push my limits already more than I have myself.
