My dream since the 5th grade is go far for track, ever since then it has been a huge part of my life. Running or jumping for a college has been my lifetime goal. I am a hard worker and you can trust that I will give my 100% every time I step foot on the track. I believe to be a very honest athlete and I will not lie about injuries. I don't see track as another sport like most people do, track is a passion that defines who I am as a person and competing has taught me life lessons that my own parents didn't even learn. Being the only freshman on the varsity sprints team for both boys and girls has taught me how to run under pressure. I had a great opportunity to be an anchor for my 4x100m relay as well as breaking the school record for it. One thing that stands out is that I have had the experience and opportunity to compete in two different countries, which has given me the confidence to give my best under any condition and any competition. I represented my city in India, made it to junior olympics in my first season in the US back in the 8th grade, I ran the 4x100m relay breaking the school record and now I am ready to represent a college that will push me harder than expected.
