2023 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Hi! I am Kiala Haas and I am going on my 4th season of track and 3rd season of cross country at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara. I am looking forward to finding the best fit college for me and am excited for new opportunities for running! Personally, finding a reliable team is extremely important to me, track and cross country are very mentally difficult sports and having that support within your teammates and coaches is very impactful. I generally believe am a positive and supportive teammate, I always try to make everyone feel included and involved. I have been captain for my team and have helped lead my team mates into many great races! I also believe that while sports are important school is as well, and should not be taken for granted. I hope to find a place where I can focus on my studies and also improve my running abilities!
