Personal Statement
Hello my name is Meridian Smutz. Ever since I can remember I always had a certain place for sports in my heart. I played football in middle school and some in high school, soccer in middle school, and basketball for as long as i can remember. But I could never pick a favorite. However, ever since my first time throwing a shot put, I knew that was going to be it. I have been working hard on reaching my goal be able to get to participate in track at the college level and I am still working my hardest to achieve this goal. I am a good candidate for any team i play for because I am determined and I am willing to make sacrifices and push myself to achieve any goal I put my mind to.
