2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I would like to attend a 4-Year University and major in Psychology, Communications, or Kinesiology. I would like to compete in Track and Cross-Country, preferably for a Division II or III team. Running is my greatest passion; I love that it allows me to push myself and see how I can improve and reach my goals. I adore racing, and and I love training with a team that works extremely hard. I have been a Captain of both my Track and Cross-Country Teams for the past two years, and I believe that is because I am a good role model, an extremely hard worker with tremendous dedication to my team, I respect my coaches and teachers, and I enjoy making new girls to the team feel welcome and supported. I put great focus on learning as much as I can in my classes, and getting the best grades possible.

- I spent one week for the past three summers training in altitude with my Cross-Country team at Mammoth Mountain. We ran numerous trail runs at varying distances up to 6 miles, such as the Ridge Run, Inyo Craters, and Life Hill. We also ran workouts at Shady Rest Park and the Whitmore Track. We finished the week with a time trial at Lake Mary.
