By the time I graduate high school, I would love to hit 5:05 for the 1600 and 11:10 for the 3200.
Many might think those are a stretch considering my times currently. However, every year and every season i continue to surprise myself with the way I grow as an athlete. I am a good candidate for any college because I am dedicated, fear does not drive me to give up, it drives me to be hungry for more. In track, I PR for the 1600 and the 3200, and right after exhausting myself in that event, I still am dedicated to running the 4x400 with my girls. (2021- I went to CIF for all those events!) Many obstacles have faced my way within just a year: COVID-19, injuries, being alone when it comes to advancing to championships. While facing these hard times, I have succeeded the most. This led me to breaking a time I was having difficulty doing in the 2 mile. Everyday I work to be better than the person I was yesterday, and when times get hard, I will be ready on the line to fight off my limits and my competition. I
Academically, I enjoy learning and believe many people take for granted the great opportunity we have to learn. I love to learn everyday, and I enjoy recalling my knowledge through forms of studying as well as taking exams.
