Personal Statement
I have been running for almost 10 years now but over the course of high school, I have truly found a passion for running. It helps me stay active and I enjoy being surrounded by people who can push me to be a better athlete. As a social person, I have discovered some of my best friends through this sport and I have found that even if I have a bad race, my team is always there to pick me up and help me work even harder. I am also in challenging classes which makes it hard to balance school and running but I have found a way to make it work. I am so excited to continue improving my times throughout the rest of my high school career and through college as well.
