Running has been a passion of mine since I was in sixth grade. I have been in love with the sport since I ran a 5k at the age of ten and placing third for my age group of ages ten through thirteen. After this eye opening experience I continued to apply myself in running. I continued my love for the sport throughout middle school, every Friday we would run the mile and I being a competitive ten year old would strive to be the first girl to finish. I continued to peruse my love for running in high school which is where I am now. I run Cross Country and Track & Field I am determined to advance in running so I will be prepared for college level.
I am a hard working athlete with a determination to be the best and build on my strength. What makes me a good candidate for your team is my dedication and need to be the best. I will continuously work hard to reach my goals and set new ones along the way. I am different from other recruits in character because I have the will to never give up and constantly push myself beyond my strength. Academically, I am different because I am a student athlete that can balance the two. I can maintain my grades as well as focus on my running. As for collegiate goals I would love to become a nurse or work in the medical field in general. My goal is to get into college for running but hopefully for my ability to become a nurse as well.
