Elizabeth Dunham '23 Recruiting Profile

Since sixth grade I have patterned my life around the Civil Air Patrols core values and character development.  My first exposure to pole vault was a week before the 2020 shutdown, and that was enough to get me hooked. I’m a flexible vaulter willing to take up any pole or height that is presented. Playing team sports throughout my life has taught me how to be a team player both on the court and cheering from the bench.  I thrive under pressure.  I enjoy criminology, law, forensic sciences, as well as a variety of engineering courses. I enjoy my time working as a youth track and cross country coach. I actively volunteer with youth, worship,  and city outreach ministries through my church. The goal academically is to explore the study of criminology and forensic sciences as I pursue a potential career in law. My athletic goal is to not only compete at the Olympics but to also inspire others to attempt pole vaulting.
