My name is Erika Sanchez I am a very focused runner not only do I care about athletics I do care about my academics. As my coaches always said we are student-athletes and what is before the Athlete part “student.” So I’ve always seen track as a way to push me to get outstanding grades and go beyond the normal, such as being involved in school. While I do have amazing school spirit my favorite thing about being involved within sports and school, it helps better me as a person. It also means I’m a very social butterfly and like to meet and talk to new people. For me something that is important is not only seeing myself succeed whether it be in a sport or any academics I love to see my classmates and teammates succeed as well. Helping them in any way makes me feel like a better student-athlete. As a athlete I do definitely have some skills many others may say it’s not an important skill but I definitely believe my leadership skills are outstanding and not only that my communication skills. My goals are to become a nurse practitioner while still maintaining my track career in a big level. But not only is that my only goal I plan wherever I go to always do what is best and right. The list goes on and on about my goals because I will always try to be better and do better in life. My personality is definitely one you will remember I can be very talkative and I mean very , not only that there that caring side of me, and you will never forget my good sassy side. I am they type of person that is very outgoing and always encouraging other to be themselves. You would definitely appreciate and not regret making me apart of your team for my work ethic, determination, and my goofy uplifting spirit. I may be tiny but I am mighty.
