I started running when I was in elementary school. I found that running was something that I enjoyed thoroughly, from the competition all the way to the pain and grit it takes. Competing in track and cross country has helped me learn hard work, grit, and perseverance. I strive to be involved in as many ways as possible in school, as well as extracurricular activities. Sports have always been the thing to keep me going, pushing me to be better, as well as develop as a person. I found that learning these traits such as perseverance from running helped apply them in the classroom as well as life. Family has always been a very important thing for me. I wouldn't be anywhere if it wasn't for the relationships that I have with my family as well as friends. School has always been a very high priority in my life. I strive to get good grades and always try my best. Everything I do I commit at 110% all the time. I don't give up and always give it my best. My goals are to graduate with a good degree and compete at the collegiate level. I want to succeed in track as well as in the classroom, which won't be easy but I want to put in the time and efforts it takes to get there.
