Margaret Josie Nance '25 Recruiting Profile

I am going to be a sophomore in the graduating class of 2025 and my sole focus is to run in college. I started running when I was eight years old and immediately fell in love with the sport, from both the team and race atmosphere to the feeling of achieving a new PR.  I now live, race, and train in the Rocky Mountains at about 8,000 feet above sea level. Race day is my favorite day of the week, but I also love going to practice and putting in the work to achieve my goals. Not only am I a three-sport athlete (cross country, basketball, and track,) but I am also a 4.0 student.  Hard work and effort are traits I carry into all aspects of my life, because I spend my summers training, working, and volunteering in my church and community.
