My name is Brenna Jorde and I am 14 years old. I play for Colorado Rush 08 GA. I have lofty goals for my soccer career. Ever since I was 10, I have wanted to play in college and go pro. I have trained hard on my own every day for 4 and a half years to achieve my dream. So I have time to train every day, I am homeschooled. My homeschool curriculum is cool since you can do school at your own pace. I do 2 hours a day, and I am ahead of where I should be! I have a great character as well. I am a great teammate and I have a good attitude both on and off the field. I try to encourage my teammates as much as I can. If they have a bad pass or do not make a shot they should have, I try to comfort them and tell them to keep their head up. I do high school sports at the school I'm aligned with even though I am homeschooled. I do cross country, and I will do track and soccer in the spring. I currently have the school record for the 5k with a time of 18:14. I am in a competitive league called the Girls Academy League (GA). As I mentioned before, I play with Colorado Rush and I am on the 08g academy team. I have all A's and one B in my classes and a 3.8 GPA. I plan on taking honors and AP classes next year in 10th grade. I am a good candidate for a college team because I will always work hard. My work ethic is great, and I love soccer so much. I eat, breathe and live for this sport. I love going on the field and working my butt off. I am also very coachable. If a coach tells me to switch the field more, then I try and switch the field every single time I get the ball. I would love to be an athlete in college.
