Sarah McGarry '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sarah McGarry and I am a current junior in high school. I have been running track since 1st grade (minus 8th because of covid). My goal for track is to get recruited to run in college. I LOVE competition, it drives me. I am a jumper and sprinter. Where ever my coach needs me for any of the relays, she throws me in, she calls me the swiss army knife of the girl's team. Jumping is my specialty. I fell in love with it my freshman year and placed 5th in the long jump at state in 2022 as a sophomore. I broke my high school women's long jump record.  Working hard academically is very important to me as well because I want to have a job that can sustain me after college. Loving those around me, on my team or in the class room, is so important to me because of the how Jesus love me.
