I know that I would like to pursue a future in collegiate running. Competing is something that has always fueled me as an athlete. I have only just begun to run and my full potential is yet to be seen. I began running on my high school's cross country team in the Fall of 2016 as a Junior, and instantly fell in love with the sport. My greatest accomplishment of the XC season was becoming a part of the Connecticut All-State first team and being the top female runner at my school, first go at it. I think that what sets me aside from other athletes is my potential and coachability. I also strive to not only be my best self but to be a team player.
I wish I began running earlier in high school but the positive side is that I'm not burned out and will give my all with top quality collegiate level training. I am ready to work hard. My goal is to commit to run for a college in my senior year, to compete in Cross Country and Track and Field. Academically, I also work hard and it has paid off because I have multiple honor and highest honor roll recognition's and just recently became a member of the National Honor Society. My hobbies include spending time with my family, cooking, hiking, visiting the beach, and reading.
