2020-21 Highlights Personal Statement
Growing up I have participated in a number of different sports including, competitive gymnastics, American Ninja Warrior and aerial silks. When I first saw pole vaulting on tv I knew that was going to be my next adventure, sure enough when I joined track my freshman year I instantly fell in love with the challenge of the sport and the team environment. In addition to pole vaulting I have earned on spot in the varsity 100m, 55m, 4X100m and javelin. I love the variety that track has to offer, allowing me to try different events and see where I can best succeed. Due to Covid-19 my sophomore season was cancelled; but this set back pushed me to train harder for this past season. In school I also push myself with multiple AP classes and two languages, I am looking to go into medicine in the future. i am excited to receive coaching and training at the collegiate level and grow as an athlete and student.
