Personal Statement

I am 5'1 and weight 130lbs. I have been running track and field since the 6th grade. Over the years, I have been to the Jr. Olympics 3 times. One was for the multi events, and the other two were for throwing the javelin and disc. I have been on the varsity track team since my freshman year. In high school, I have received the Coaches Award, and team leader. Since I was a freshman, I have been teaching the incoming hurdlers and throwers. I have participated in almost ever event in track in field. From the throwing to the running. My coaches call me the jock of trade; if they need someone to run or jump, they call me. My senior year this year, they are going to have me try the pole vault since my lost all our pole valuators. I love to play sports from volleyball, basketball to track, it does not matter what it is. I am one of the first athletes on the court/field and one of the last to leave. For me, it does not matter where I go to college, I am not fussy. I prefer smaller class sizes, like 20:1 ratio. When I go to college, I will be applying for financial aid. My desire major is Sports Management. As I said, I love sports I never want to stop being involved with it. My athletic goals are to be the best athlete that I can, to make an impact on the team, and to play as a freshman.
