Personal Statement
I'm a very persistent and determined individual, ever since I went through both hurricane Maria and Irma in PR I've learned many things. I was able to adjust to a new life here in the United States and further my athletic career all while becoming a better person in the process. I take my academics very seriously and have worked tirelessly to ensure that I maintained my grades and high school career intact. I've gone through many hardships and have learned that hard work does pay off in the end. I came here to the United States expecting nothing but the best to happen for me and I've made sure to work for all the good things that have and will come my way.
