2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Noelle Vu. I’m currently a senior at Mount Dora High School. I have been running my entire middle and high school career. In middle school my 8th grade year, I was the FLYRA Cross-Country Public School State Champion. Going into high school, my freshman year I made All-State in Cross Country and finished 4th in the 800m at the Track State Championship. My sophomore year I made it to the Cross Country State Championship and Track State Championships in the 1600m. In my junior year we were District and Regional Cross Country Champion and I qualified for State as District and Regional Champion in the 1600m and District Champion in the 3200m in track. This past fall we repeated as District and Regional Champion in Cross Country. I’m currently captain of my school's track and field team and hold the school record in the 400m, 800m, 1600m, 3200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m. I plan to go to college for pre-med and looking forward to continuing my running career in college.
