Personal Statement

Hello my name is Jade King. I'm a proud member of the Rockledge High School Girls Track and Take Flight Athletics AAU Team. I've been training, learning, running and jumping since the age of 8.

Through these years, I've learned how to win, sometimes take a loss, an being humble. I fell in love with hurdles watching videos of the great Lolo Jones I took some scrapes and bruises, but still got back up to get it right.

My coaches decided to also put me in all jumps starting with High Jump, long jump and lastly triple jump.

Through hard training I made it to the 2017 Jr AAU Olympics in Houston Texas during their 50th anniversary. That was a proud moment for me, but that's only the beginning.
