Personal Statement
My name is Macey Higgason. I love playing many sports. I run a lot of 5ks w school and in personal time w family. I am ranked number one female runner for Ga. region 3 division 3AAA GHSA . I also like playing HS soccer and HS flag football. I have participated in state GRPA w track and field in Ga and broke the state record throwing javelin this year 2022. I placed 2nd in the 3200m at state as well. and 2nd in the 1600m. I also broke the state record w GRPA rec cross country in Ga, in 2021 placing first and placed first at GRPA state cross country oct 2022.
I placed 1st in 1600 and 1st in 3200 for region 3 -3AAA GHSA 2023.
I Placed First in regionals at cross country 2022
I placed 2nd in regionals at cross country 2023, 3rd in 3200 track and field 2024 in regionals
I placed 3rd in regionals Cross country 2024 MVP girl 2024 LCHS cross country .
I ranked all region first team 2023,2024 for HS soccer and best offense scoring the most goals 2024.
In my spare time I like snow skiing, playing at the beach, riding horses and swimming in our pool with friends. I want to be a physical therapist or the field of radiology/ ultrasounds and be able to help other athletes with sport injuries or teaching them the importance of proper stretches etc,
